FRESH IMPORT FROM AUSTRALIA! 2 LITRE RIGHT HAND DRIVE

….Jaffa the Jesus bus. Imported from Western Australia on 19th August. Good points; Right hand drive Solid/Never welded 2 litre engine reconditioned 7,000 miles ago by a vw specialist. 2 elderly previous owners Lots of receipts,recent exhaust,new starter motor,battery etc. Oil temperature guage Stereo with AUX input Rock and roll bed with 2 seatbelts The pop top roof is in very good condition 240v hook up for camping Front and rear bull bars with extra spotlamps Tow bar Good tyres and alloy wheels Purchased near Perth in November 09 and toured around for 2000 kilometres,no problems. Bad points; Paintwork not perfect in some areas Sliding door has slight damage but easy repair Unregistered but supply documents for import fees/duty paid To register you require mot and insurance on the chassis number. Mot work required;offside lower ball joint,handbrake needs adjustment,horn not working. The engine is a reconditioned vw 1600cc so there is almost no milage (since 2006-2000miles) starts every time. ….Here we have for sale a great oppertunity to own a 1968 low light classic vw camper van (dormobile) I am only selling this as I have now bought a split screen and can not use the two of them! I am only the third owner and the two previous were my friend and his family Since I have owned her, I have replaced the shock absorbers all round, replaced the carb and replaced all the wheel cylinders. She starts on the key everytime and has never let me down. Being a Dormobile there are two hamocks in the roof space as well as the Rock n Roll bed so can sleep 4 with no problems, everything works too, there is a Gas Cooker behind the passenger seat, Sink and built in cool box, she also has fitted a split charger and 240v hook up. There is no rust on the body work, the underside has been chassis blacked, there maybe the odd bit of welding required underneath in the future years, but nothing serious and it has just gone through its MOT remember this is 42 years old! The front seats and door panels are all Original, the rear seats have been re-covered and the door panel for the sliding door is missing, although I do have a brand new complete set of door panels througout for the lucky winner so you can put your own stamp on it and cover the back half in what ever you like! Being a 1968 it goes without saying she is Tax exempt which puts a smile on your face every year when you get it through the post. This Camper will feature in this months issue of Practicable Classics magazine too, one of the editors took it for the whole day around Bournemouth and said what a pleasure and good fun it was. I will also let the Awning go too, a useful piece of kit to store your stuff in to give you that extra piece of room. ….I have for Sale a T2 1979 Bay Window van which has been converted to have windows instead of panels. I purchased this from a friend recently but now have been offered another project that floats my boat more. I have welded up the bits required for an MOT rear battery tray side sill, rear corner and a few other patches here and there. The van is very solid underneath and didn’t need any work on chassis. I have put the engine back in but haven’t wired it up yet. Needs a little bit of titivating and engine connecting for MOT, not a long job. The van needs an interior and prepping for paint, the sliding door has had a repair by previous owners and is a little ropey but other than that it’s all good. Engine runs on unleaded and has a progressive weber on apparently it’s only a few years old (purchased from heritage) but I don’t have any info for this, it doesn’t have any end float issues. As I said need it gone as I got my eye on something else. Any questions please ask.

….This is the sale of a RHD vw t2 bay window camper that was imported from Australia a few years ago. It has 12 months MOT from last week! It starts, runs and drives well, i would happily drive it anywhere. The clutch, brakes, steering, gearbox etc all feel fine. Its been lowered with adjustable front beam. Its got a pop top roof with a bed up there. The chassis/floor is in very good condition with no rot. The body has alot of original paint still but does need some attention to the arches and gutter in places but does have a good “rat” look. The interior has a 3/4 width rock and roll bed fitted and early dormobile cupboards and table. The bed needs re-covering. Its got the larger 1800cc engine. Overall its a great fun van to drive that is perfectly usable and ready to go camping that could either be restored or used as it is! Any questions 07973 239013.
