12 Months MOT, Tax Exempt, Fully Summer Ready

….Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Welcome to the auction for my much loved VW Camper Van. A brief history: I have owned her for the past three years. During this time I have had her restored by a local specialist body shop and she has had a full re-spray last autumn. The 1.6 litre original air cooled engine was reconditioned by another specialist shortly after I bought her and has run smoothly ever since. She sailed through the MOT last week with only one advisory. The Interior: For the past three months I have been restoring a Westfalia interior. The wardrobe and sink are originals. The rock and roll bed has the original Westfalia brackets but it and the buddy seat were handmade by me, with the originals used as templates. All of the visible surfaces have been re-veneered in a real oak veneer, which has then been coated three times in a contact grade furniture varnish to ensure maximum protection. I have not installed handles as I thought the design of handles is a personal choice and can make or break an interior, but I am more than happy to fit them for you if you would rather me do it before you pick it up. Before collection, I will put doors on the sink unit and varnish it, as well as re-covering the rear cushion for the rock and roll bed and the buddy seat in the matching blue check Laura Ashley fabric. I will also be installing a varnished wooden headlining that covers the whole of the underside of the roof. Only a few minor personal touches still need to be added. I chose not to cover the cab front seats and door cards because I thought this was a matter for individual taste. There’s a working CD player but no speakers. Fancy setting up your own business? ….Welcome to my auction Here i have for sale a very special camper van It is a Westfalia conversion which is in a perfect codition, it now got EU standard rear light This camper is the best T2 i’ve ever seen, it was never crashed or welded not even dented (apart from the rear bumper which was dented before the restoration) and it is 100% rustfree The camper is all original as you can see from the photos It’s imported from Mexico few years ago, all duties are paid and it got EU number plates, as it’s EU registered there is no need to pay any custom charges to register in the UK or any other countries in European Union It was imported with hippy paint on it and sun damaged seats, all was restored to a very high standard All paint was removed and the van had a full spray in a spraybooth at a high temperature, the work was done by professionals who work with expensive cars only they came with an excellent results (Photos prior to restoration and during the restoration are present! ) It’s very difficult to find a camper of this age in such good condition and it’s a real head turner Starts and drive A1 with no known faults, the engine is 1.6 petrol and 4 speed manual gearbox The camper still with the original hammock on the top, it can be upgraded to double bed if you want, i think it’s better to keep it original I’m only selling due to a bad leg,unfortunately i won’t be able to drive manual cars for long time The Camper is 41 years old and in excellent condition, any independent inspection is welcome, private sale terms apply Please no time wasters, dreamer or pilots i’m sorry to the genuine buyers but there are few bad people spoiling ebay You can pay in cash or bank draft or bank bank transfer, the camper will be released only after the fund is cleared! ….This is our VW LT35 Campervan Standard UK Right Hand Drive. We imported the van to the UK from Germany in 2010 and have had the van on the road for about a year and a half. The van is a standard UK Spec van that was professionally converted to a campervan. There is story as to how it ended up being in Germany. We bought the van from my brother in law’s father who had owned the van from new in 1994. He was a manager at the Volkswagen Wolfsburg factory in Germany where the van was made. Originally the van was destined to be a panel van for the UK but it was scratched whilst in transit on the ferry to the UK. So it was then returned to the Wolfsburg factory, where my brother in law’s father bought it for a reduced price, due to the scratch and a right hand drive in Germany. His brother also worked at the Wolfsburg factory in the area converting vans to campervans. His brother then proceeded to convert the van to a campervan, by fitting a high top roof and furnishing the whole inside with an original VW interior. All the interior that you see is original VW parts. If you see original LT Florida vans they have the same interior, but in a different layout. As this is a long wheel base van, it will be the only professionally converted one as the Florida vans were all the short wheel base. My brother in law’s father then kept the van for use by his family for the next 16 years before selling it on to us, in this time he looked after the van and even in 2004 had the engine removed and totally overhauled of which there is a picture within the files. In the last few years of his ownership it wasn’t used so much due to their children having grown up. So it then was just sitting on their drive until 2010 when we purchased it and drove it on a 1000 mile trip back to the UK. Since we bought her we have had her registered on UK number plates, which wasn’t awkward as she is originally a UK van. Since registering her we have enjoyed using her for trips out into the lake district and for wild camping over the border in Scotland. We have had a great time in her, but due to the purchase of a new house we just wont have the time for her anymore. So it’s better she finds a new owner rather than sitting on our drive unused. The van has required very little mechanical work done on it to keep her passing through her MOTs. The exterior of the van has some rust in places and the odd few marks but nothing more than you would expect for a van of this age, although underneath she is as solid as a rock, typical of VW’s build quality. The van is designed as a 4 sleeper, primarily 2 adults and 2 children as the downstairs bed is a little bit short for adults unless you sleep diagnally. The front seats can be folded forward to give enough room for adults but it isnt really designed that way. We have slept 4 adults though, so it can be done. The bed upstairs is a full size double bed and it is very comfy. The downstairs bed is made up by lowering the table and folding out the seat cushions. Now a rundown of whats inside and included. I want to be as honest as possible so here are the problems that she has. Due to a leak from a skylight in the bathroom area when she was unused in Germany there is some damage to the bottom of the door surround leading into the bathroom. Also 2 of the bathroom cupboard door surrounds are a bit swollen due to being wet at one point, but are still perfectly useable. The leak from the bathroom skylight has been repaired and the inside of the van is totally dry inside now. The skylight in the main area has a crack in it that has been sealed with tape to prevent leaks. The blinds that cover the windows are sometimes quite awkward to use as they jam or dont lock into place. There is also a very small burn on the drivers seat. This was on the van when we got it but the van has never been smoked in by us or previous owner so not sure how it got there. There is spare seat material that comes with the van that is the same pattern that I managed to get hold of that can be used to repair the burn but we never got around to it. All in all it is a really good van and we will be sad to see it go but unfortunatly we must.It has plenty of storage space and really gives you plenty of space inside unlike smaller vans. It drives great and starts every time. She comes with 12 months MOT and 6 Months Tax so she really is just ready to go. ….VW T2 Westfalia 71 early baywindow My westy is for sale ,due to lack of time to totally complete and business decisions i’ve had to make . With a little time and a little money this camper will be ready for the camping season or just day trips to the beach to have a BBQ or just watch the tide come in.Have a beer or 2 ,as there’s no need to go home. “HOME IS WHERE YOU PARK IT ” Being an early bay she has the good looks of the low front lights and very attractive rear small lights,but being an early 71 she has the disc brakes of a later bay. She has been in the country for afew years now and been loved and cared for being inside a dry garage having work completed on her. She came from the USA in the state of Iwoa. She has alot of new parts and had a 2 pack re-spray with all windows taken out on the resto. New rubbers window seals and window trims have been replaced when sprayed . Heat exchangers are in very good condition and all pipework from the front that is lagged to the back is present. The engine had leak and some float ,so sent to engine shop to be re-built ,ground crank ,line bored with new 1641 barrels & pistons. Engine not fully connected ,so cannot be driven Interior is complete and has table , buddy seat and stool. All cabinets are in good shape just need afew handles replaced that i have. sink & cool box with lift over table and fold out table to cook on. Rock n roll bed . Stunning original condition

….Here you have the opportunity to own one of the best VW bay window Westfalia campers available for sale anywhere in the UK. This is an extremely rare Left Hand Drive Westfalia Oslo SO69 conversion with the even rarer factory Dormobile pop up roof option (the best roof conversion you could get at the time, and still is!). It is COMPLETELY original except for a high quality exterior only repaint in 2010 in it’s original colour of Savannah Beige. The interior is completely original, including the seat covers, Electrolux fridge, sink cooker etc etc. Everything is exactly how it was when it left the dealership in Germany in May 1970, we know, as we even have a photo of it parked outside the dealer in 1970!!! This van drives brilliantly, has been totally reliable and nips along nicely for a 1600. The engine was replaced in the late eighties with a factory exchange engine, but it’s only done about 30k since then. This van has a COMPLETE service history, with every bill, and even some snaps of it’s life through the last 42 years on the road! Recently featured in Volksworld Camper and Bus in October last year, this bus has provenance to die for, every extra you could order (back in 1970) and is in time warp condition. No rust, perfectly straight body / paint work, everything works (even the original fridge!!) and it’s a joy to camp in. The original Westy wood headlining is still perfect, although I m going to replace the sliding door card with a new one in the correct birch ply. The engine and drivetrain have had a good going over, it’s been serviced properly but the engine has not been rebuilt. All the brakes are recent and everything is as it should be. We have owned this van for 3 years, and loved every minute of owning her, but the time has come to sell and I’m keen to find a really good home for this van. ….hi there this is my westy. what i rebuilt myself as i have my own body shop it is in great condition and its a rear automatic .what i have used all threw the winter with no probs its had 2lt engine fitted whats had new piston and barrels pulls well.its also has gas blow heating , dvd sat nav rear seat belts .its taxed and mot,d ,it does need few little things doing like odd door cards and it has no carpet fitted in the back .any inspection welcome want to know any more give me a ring or email alan 07979995532
