….Here is my much loved VW Holdsworth Valentine van with extra low mileage of less than 26k. L Reg, 2370cc diesel engine with power steering and 5-speed manual gearbox, MOT until February 2018, RH drive. Length only 16′ 6″ so it’s easy to park just about anywhere. Width 6′ 6″ and height 8′ 9”. 2-4 berth. Rear seats convert to a comfortable double bed 6′ 2″ long. Area over the cab is ideal for two small children with access by wooden ladder (not suitable for two adults – one maybe). There is just one lap belt in the rear seating. Kitchen: Sink, gas hob with 3 burners and grill. 3-way fridge with small freezer department. Note that the fridge works perfectly on battery while you drive and gas when stationary, but is not functioning on electric. Bathroom: Thetford cassette toilet, sink, shower, wall cabinet with mirror, plus a long mirror on entrance door. Storage: Overhead cupboards x 7 plus a drinks cabinet, kitchen cupboards x 2, wardrobe and under rear seating. Heating is Propex blown air. Blinds, fly screens and curtains. Dining table fits into slot between searing and is stored in the wardrobe. Carver Cascade 2 water heater. New fresh water tank. 2 large size gas bottles secured in external cabinet. Cable for electric hook up. Loads of extras are included if you want them: Reversing camera, kettle, toaster, crockery, pots and pans, cutlery etc. Cushions, 2 camp chairs and a folding table for outside use, levelling ramps, awning and groundsheets, portable electric oven, small solar panel for constant top up of leisure battery. Now for the bad points: A couple of small surface rust spots, seen on driver’s door and lower cill, occasional screeching when steering wheel on full lock, fridge does not function on electric hook up, petrol gauge does not always register fuel amount unless you give it a tap Reason for sale: I am just not using the van anymore since my daughter moved to the coast, as I spend all my spare time there now. I have wonderful memories of motorhoming, especially at Glastonbury festivals, but sadly I have out-aged that now as my knee can’t cope. This is a very reliable vehicle with extra low mileage for year; just perfect for a young family. With all the added extras included it is all ready to drive away for a comfortable holiday. All upholstery and carpets are in excellent condition. Viewings are most welcome – in fact I would much prefer you to come and see before making a bid. As I intend to advertise this elsewhere, I reserve the right to remove the listing from Ebay. A non-returnable deposit of £250 would be required via Paypal within 24 hours of auction end and the remainder paid by banker’s draft.
