….1986 VW T25 campervan Holdsworth Villa conversion with a solid hi top roof. The van is ready to go for the summer with all appliances working i.e.sink and tap with running water from the on board water tank, 2 burner hob and grill, fridge and zig unit with mains hook up. The van sleeps 4 people with 2 in the roof on a double bed and 2 on a rock and roll bed downstairs. The interior is clean and tidy and of good quality as you would expect for a Holdsworth conversion of this age. The van has 12 months MOT and is running a 1925 dg water-cooled engine that was replaced at a dealers in ‘97 with a new exchange block fitted by them down in Southampton. Since then it has only covered 55K and runs really well. For this MOT I have rebuilt the back brakes with new cylinders and back plates as they where rotten, I also replaced the brake pipes and rear bumper which houses a tow bar. ….Hello there, welcome to my auction and here you will be bidding on my beautiful volkswagen campervan. The van is a 1983 transporter T25 and has a lovely holdsworth Villa 3 conversion inside. It has an 1900cc water cooled engine with a 5 speed gearbox. The van has been in my family for quite a few years with my uncle owning it before me. I haven’t owned it for very long and a change in circumstances means its not financially viable for me to keep the van. My plan was to drive it to europe for a few months in the summer as my uncle regularly did. As you can see from the pictures the van is in great condition inside and out, the van has just been re-sprayed by a body shop at the cost of £1500 two weeks ago. The van has had thousands spent on it ( NO expense has been spared), including a new engine (35,000 miles ago), new clutch (same time as re-spray), new suspension, most brake components, water system components, I have receipts for all of this with costs well over £6000. The van just flew through the MOT with only a few small advisories (wiper blades, play in a wheel bearing which is now fixed, brake pipe has surface rust). The van is a 4 berth with a 3/4 rock & roll bed (with 3 point seat belts in the rear) and room for two in the roof.
