VW T25 Holdsworth Villa 3 Campervan 1986 – Hard sided pop top, new engine

….Year: 1986Mileage: 80,080MOT until: September 2018Caravelle 78PS, 1915cc Petrol Engine, water cooledI bought ‘Vampy’ to go to Glastonbury in 2005 and have loved her ever since. She was checked over by an ex-VW mechanic prior to my buying her and he described her as ‘really really good, you need to buy this one!’ That began a beautiful love affair with my van, she’s been driven up to the Hebrides and down to the south of France, and we’ve had many adventures in her, including a few Glastonburys where she saved us from the rain, gave us toasted bacon sandwiches, cold wine and ice for G&T. Over the years, we’ve tweaked her to upgrade bits ‘n’ bobs, the best thing I ever did was fit electric power steering which makes parking in small spots a breeze. We put a new engine in her in April 2014 and we’ve driven only about 5,000 miles since then.Vampy is a superb example of a Holdsworth premium van conversion, with the rare hard-sided pop top roof – we have only ever seen one other! In terms of history: I’ve owned her for the past 13 years and done around 23,000 miles in that time, and was previously owned by only one family. Comes with original VW T25 plastic wallet with manual, original Holdsworth user guide and wiring diagrams, lots and lots of invoices, service history, past MOTs, etc. Extensive documentation for service history. We’re only selling because we sail more than we camp now, and we think Vampy doesn’t float (we’ve not tried!) It’s time to pass her onto her next family who can love her and have adventures in her all of their own. Many photos available here: tinyurl.com/vampypicsor email for more picsCamper:Holdsworth Villa 3 – Hard-sided pop top, warmer and less draughty/damp than a canvas top.
